More than 4K content, I’d rather Hotstar managed their servers better and provide a lag/buffer free experience. I get better experience on those “unholy rivers” and sometimes I choose to go the “rivers” route over hotstar, just cause of how much better their 1080p quality is compared to hotstar.

I'd said this on another thread as well, but it's rather unfortunate that we don't get F1 TV pro here in India.

Along with what appears to be better quality/FPS, you can also "control" your entire broadcast and chose to ride onboard with any driver+ listen to their radio.

I'm okay with the 1080p.
I took the Rs.499 worth Hotstar premium(without Disney +)
and for that price its worth it sonce I watch an a PC.

Halfway through the year, they even unlocked the Disney plus content in English for free! (Earlier thet were available only in regional languages) (with ads of course, but most of the ads can be mitigated using Adblockers

The one thing I would complain about is the bufferring and the inability to rewind during the live telecast ( in case we need to pause and continue later) and the step motherly treatment it gives to everything that is not Cricket.
(Especially that one time when they started telecasting IPL in between as race on the F1 link and that too at the most crucial moment of the race)

I am on the highest tier package and still end up having to watch movies through sources I'm not proud of to view them in 4K and Atmos. The LG Hotstar app is terrible and sometimes needs to be restarted to make it work.

My only wish from Hotstar is good streaming experience after the Russian 2021 GP fiasco.

F1 TV sounds good, I don't know reviews of F1 TV but can be given a try if it gets launched in India at an affordable rate. Hotstar at 999 INR is a steal deal with no so good experience as a side effect.
