Wanted: RD350 in Bangalore

Guys, Looking for this on behalf of a friend. What would be the price of a good RD350 (original parts etc.) in bangalore? Anyone know of any good mech.s that would have bikes to sell?

Cheers,
Ajit

People in bangalore dont think before telling the price...

i had seen 2 bike about 2-3 months back in good condition, but the guy was asking 75K...

that bike is still one sale... no one pay that much...

usually max should be 50-55K anything more than that would be Royalty you pay.
(This prices are for bangalore)

I agree with Zulfikar, RD350 prices are much higher today. I bought a RD350(HT) 3 months ago in original condition for 67K. All the good/original bikes that I saw were above 70K. Some were even quoting more than a lac but I just didn't feel they were worth that much. Even 5 years ago when I sold my previous RD, the price for a good bike was more than 50K.

@ajitkommini : Shall let you know

infact, if u have the time and patience ( which you shud have if u intend to own an RD!!!), you should buy a beaten down bike at a throw away price and then work on it with a good mechanic. it would still be cheaper than these fancy prices being quoted

and u get to decide what quality parts go into it

I agree with narayan..... you better have patience.... i know many with the rd's and many weekends are dedicated towards these beasts.....both money and time.....will have to be spent generously

Agreed! although it isnt for me personally but for a friend of mine. The guy is a pretty seasoned restorer of bikes, so I'm pretty sure he has the patience and probably the time too

i personally think that you will get a decent rd at around 20-25, put in antoher 25k worth of goodies and you have a ROCKSTAR on your hand. dont forget the monthly 4 k maintainance you will spend on the bike.

i dont think there will be a 4K maintainance.
you can expect 1500-2000 per month...
if you want the ike to be in best condition...

Yes that sounds reasonable. It's not going to be ridden every single day anyway.

Your friend is interested then PM me i know atleast 4 RD's in Bangalore.Either go for butchered one for cheap rates and do the restoration job or pay a bomb and get a fresh and neatly done RD.
