So my wife and kids had an eventful morning today at home. This little fella fell down from the skies and was crying out for it's mother. It was amongst our succulent garden and my wife moved it away to another pot lest it got injured by the cactus thorns.

Then she moved away and observed from a distance. The little fella hopped/flew short distances and managed to get onto a low branch of a drumstick tree and then finally relief as the mother came down and it was a joyous reunion.

I am guessing it's a flower pecker juvenile as we see them often prancing around in our Sapotta tree.
