Guys, the world famous Japanese Cartoon Series based on Japanese Street Racing is now aired in India on
Animax Channel at 7.30 pm from Monday to Friday........

The anime and manga focus on the world of illegal Japanese street racing, where all the action is concentrated in the mountain passes and never in cities nor urban areas, and the drift racing style is emphasized in particular. Keiichi Tsuchiya helps with editorial supervision. The story is centered around the Japanese prefecture of Gunma, more specifically on several mountains in the prefecture and in and their surrounding cities and towns. Although some of the names of the locations the characters race in have been fictionalized all of the locations in the series are based on actual locations in Gunma Prefecture.

It's quite an old cartoon series with four seasons viz. 1st stage, 2nd stage, 3rd stage, 4th stage.

damn! i wont be able to watch it. i reach home at around 9pm. when do telecast the show in the morning? any idea?

There is a repeat @ 10:30 pm as well, Mon-Fri
Damn, started watching two weeks back when i was channel surfing. Now its addictive. And my parents give strange looks for watching cartoons at 19 years of age..lol
@deeps - think about my parents when they give strange looks at me while i watch cartoons - i am 27.
@speedonline - on Sundays - i usually get busy with a different "duty". :p

Good news, i have seen the movie Intial D and liked it so will check it..
Initial D is also a movie too and its great. I dont get Animax here i need to shift to TATA SKY or something else.. grrr :@

i checked out the repeat telecast yesterday at 10.30pm. apart from the grainy reception the show was great. man they were drifting a evo and a 240sx. mast show hai :)
i seen the movie , its great, didnt know it was inspired by a cartoon series.
