Re: Colleges for Arts in India, for a Nepali student

If it is any course in Arts in Mumbai, then here are a few colleges.

JJ School of Arts: big name, good ecosystem, but the faculty standards have gone bad off late, many a times classes are not held. Lots of internal politics which eventually affect students.

Rachna Sansad: contemporary and excellent, very professional, good ecosystem.

Amity University: good ecosystem, student friendly atmosphere, great campus life, frequent workshops and study tours held.

Re: Colleges for Arts in India, for a Nepali student

My son is headed to Flame University, Pune for a Bachelor of Arts degree in the coming academic year. We did quote a lot of research in the run up to his admissions and were fortunate that he got into Flame. We were also particular about a university somewhere in the southern half of the country. Do check it out. We are headed there in a fortnight for a campus visit, so I will be able to tell you more if you want details.

While you are interested in the South. Please do check out Shiv Nadar University Delhi NCR as well (Full disclosure, I am employed there).

We have a fantastic English department and offer a four year B.A. Research program in English and offer a Minor in Art as well with a studio.

If she wants to pursue B.A in Pune, Fergusson College should be one of the top contenders:
