On episode 4 'City of Dreams' Season 2. Liking Season 2. Although not as impressive as Season 1, it is still good for a watch & continuing the story. The cast remains top class. Watch it if you like drama + politics.

Before that I had my fill of Norwegian fare with Vikings, The last Empire and Ragnarok. Waiting for the next season of Ragnarok now.

Glad you liked Katla.
I am disappointed with Ragnarok though. Season one was ok, but season two became more and more silly as it progressed. They were trying too hard to get inspiration from Norse mythology to the point that it became farcical. The way they introduced Midgard Serpent into the story was cringe-worthy.

Yes, I totally agree with you. However, I like Magne's character and need to see how the story develops regarding his hammer. I may be 62 years old but still enjoy the stories I was familiar with in my youth.

And for that matter I'm still hooked on The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow.
Cheers.

After watching Marianne (WOW) and Haunting of House Hill (So-So), we started Paranormal yesterday:

A rating of 8.5 with 69k votes had our expectations high.

First episode was a let down. Good acting and nice visuals but where we asked was the horror?

Hopefully the remaining episodes ramp things up.

Glad to find you.
I have been hooked onto Legends for the past month, and am on the last episode of season 5. I am already getting withdrawal, seeing how just one is left, on streaming. So, wanted to know, looking the crossovers only within Legends, is it similarly lighthearted with Flash and Supergirl? I have seen arrow many many years ago, just a couple of seasons, so I believe it will still be dark (green). Do characters from legends have long running appearances on these other series'?

Well, Legends is more of a comedy, within the fantasy of time travel etc., while Flash and Supergirl are not comedies at all. Also, since all these serials are produced by the same conglomerate, crossovers occur between them all, including Arrow. So if you're keeping up with all of them you'll enjoy watching characters from one suddenly appearing in another to help save the world. Just leave your common sense behind and enjoy them, as I do.
To answer your last question, not really, though Sarah crossed over from Arrow a long time ago and stayed in Legends since.
Cheers.

I've been watching that during my Lunch along, but not overly excited by it. Its a fine easy watch - not bad, not great.

I really loved:

Into the Badlands.

Man in the High Castle.

Same opinion.
Although Jack Bauer was a complete badass and here the main lead is a more mellowed type. Still a good watch and hopefully gets a season 2.

If anyone enjoys a mush-fest, Modern Love on Prime is back with Season 2.

Not over the top or silly, the series has stand-alone episodes of love stories. A delightful watch, season 1 as well as 2.

4.5/5

Castle
Suits
The resident
To start off, I suppose.

One upcoming show that I am most excited about is Dexter: New Blood (2021). Dexter was the first proper TV show I had watched that had multiple seasons, back in 2010 or so and I was hooked to it!

Amazon Prime threw up Cruel Summer as a recommendation and I bit it. Watched it over the weekend. An interesting watch but not worth 10 episodes.

Modern Love - anthology series. By mistake I started from season 2 and the first 3 stories were pretty compelling. Then I realized am in season 2 and went to season 1 and the first episode was pretty interesting. Strongly recommend this one.

Am watching Friends now (eh, am late), and to me it does not live up to all that hype I had heard of. Maybe because am watching a decades old TV show. It feels like a bunch of old actors are trying to act like kids.

Polished off season 2 of The Boys in more or less 2 days. It's much more violent, and you can really begin hating homelander this time around, not that he was anything better earlier.
It does tend to slow down every 10 minutes or so, but nothing that will make you want to take a break.
5/5,For sure.
