Jay Leno's Garage television series cancelled after 7 seasons

According to media reports, NBC Universal has cancelled Jay Leno's popular television series 'Jay Leno's Garage' after seven seasons.

The cancellation of the show is said to be amidst the channel's "larger schedule shift", which will now accommodate re-runs of more popular reality shows in its primetime slots, along with other original business documentaries.

While the television series has been cancelled, reports fail to mention the future of the identically-named YouTube channel, which has a simpler format where Jay showcases one car & follows a weekly publishing schedule.

The television show, apart from showcasing the comedian's large car collection, also had Jay Leno host a number of famous guests, including US President Joe Biden and Tesla's CEO, Elon Musk. The television program also showcased stunts like drag racing to keep audiences entertained.

The cancellation of the Jay Leno's Garage television series comes a week after the comedian's second accident in 3 months. Leno, 72, was involved in a motorcycle crash recently, resulting in multiple fractures. Back in November, the comedian suffered severe burns to his face and hands when working on a steam car.

I stumbled upon Jay's youtube, while searching for something and got hooked on to it immediately. That guys is a living encyclopedia, with a magnificent collection, which he generously shares with the world. What amazes me most is that he doesn't mind getting his hands dirty in restoring the beauties and maintains them in working order.

Thank you Mr. Leno for bringing us much knowledge and joy. Looking forward to many more episodes.
