Yes. The explanation given to me was for a splendor then. Was told the margin is only 1.8K for seller, which is not even adequate to maintain the sales infrastructure (rentals, personel, expenses) even though they sell in volumes. hence, this is the reason why they don't offer any discounts or freebies.

Why is every two-wheeler showroom in Bangalore so lifeless? Salesmen just aren't interested in selling, be it Bharat TVS, or Meghdoot Suzuki, or Silicon Honda, or Prakash Motors Hero, or KTM Bajaj or Flash Vespa. Where are the good showrooms? Where is the enthusiasm? I have done the rounds of every showroom and the vibe is the same!



It's a great opportunity for a customer-centric approach. Start a dealership, dude!

"If not you, there will be another" attitude among the Salesmen. At a time when the potential customer knows all the detail of the product he is going to buy.

They definitely need not stress for a sale.
