What use are the Brown paper sheets after service?

well my friend is the owner of hilton hyundia here in trivandrum and says its for not getting the car mats dirty while service and they also polythene to cover the seats untill the owner arrives for the pickup of his vehicle, and they also charge you somehwere in that amount for that paper as well!

Yes that's why my ford service guy too said , that its to ensure the vaccum done of floor mats are reatined for a while and they suggest to use some paper like that to ensure clean mats /interiors...( no way for me)...

I see ads by waxoyl polish guys at ford service....
