So, here I am. Thinking of how to say Happy Birthday to this eccentric old man, who has a way with words.
I could write out a big post, full of funny instances and stories, but most of them would make no sense to someone that does not know Rudra.
In fact Rudra himself would make no sense to most people. There are times when he makes no sense to himself.
Think of this man and you think of a funny bengali accent, a kinky love for all things automotive, single malt whiskey and art. A man with a keen eye, a sharp temper and a sense of colour and beauty that most people cannot fathom, including I.
To love Rudra is a job of great patience. A certain beautiful and talented young lady, with lovely big eyes will agree with me, whole-heartedly. While the rest go oooh and aahh admire his photos and his cars, she handles his mad behaviour with patience.

Here is truly an old man, who never lost the child in him. If you see his collection of toys, you will understand. He is one of the true characters on this forum. And what a character he is.
Rudra, It is impossible to describe my relationship with you. I'm never sure if you are my elder brother (By age), or younger (by behaviour, sometimes). Whatever you may be, you are my friend and confidante. I love you.
Happy Birthday, you crazy old man. May you live long, healthy and happy.
As planned, we are going to meet tomorrow and get rip roaring drunk together!
