All mag fans (& lovers for those who might feel left out), I hear (rather I am sure) mag is throwing a dinner party @ Bhagini, Marathalli @ 8pm tonight. Kindly spread the word and be there

Thanks to all for the greetings and good wishes. The last couple of years have been a great learning experience for me, both at T-BHP and on the highway. Let us keep up the good work.

If I am alive and well today at age 50, it is in no small measure due to my silent and constant companion, my Santro. Hats off to this car and hats off to Hyundai. There may be much better cars around today, but I don't plan to give up on my old Santro in the near future. It would be a long time before I can develop the same amount of faith and trust in another car.

Yesterday I drove to Mumbai yet again. I decided to thank my Santro on the eve of my birthday by filling 'er up with Speed 97 (had to drive about 10 kms to the bunk at Sangamnagar RTO, Pune). There is a marginal improvement in performance (pickup and top speed) as compared to plain Speed, which I think is often adulterated. I want to try Speed 97 for a while before coming to a conclusion.

Thanks, scooby05. Your bro is dead right about the dependability of the Santro. And in my opinion, handles much better than it is given credit for. Believe me, this car has gotten me out of trouble on many occasions, sometimes when I myself thought all was lost.
