Well I like reading a lot, especially auto mags (good quality stuff, not the Indian ones) and books too. Apart from that cars, movies & videos take up the rest of my time. And am into tyres & wheels BIG TIME! But you guys already know that!!

Enjoy living a fine life so do really cherish checking out new eating joints, watering holes, hotels, holiday destinations etc.

Reading(no novels please) car, food and gadget related books and magazines, Food, and music are my hobbies. Like visiting new restaurants, discovering new places to eat. I like poetry. I find Hindi and Urdu poetry more meaningful than English. I guess its th e depth of the meaning. I tinker with my key boards. I amnot professionally or otherwise trained and can somehow manage to find the right keys to make music. (Ram is the other person who ive seen do this, besides a few others). I like watching films ( no rona-dhona or mush stuff for me).

I've been collecting indian & international automobile brochures from the past 10 years. This has been my main hobby.

Apart from this i have a small collection of scale models, stamps & coins.

Whats your hobby?

I was wondering if any such tread existed, but did not find any. (@Mods if any thread exists please merge).

I see lot of talented people in the forum clicking some of the best photographs I have ever seen or people making some innovative Carputers etc. I was just curious to know what all the BHPians have been doing in their spare times and what are their hobbies, of course other than Automobiles. Most of you must have written it in your profile. But lets share it here and know how we go about doing it. May be we can find other BHPians sharing the same interest.

I will start with myself.

1. Audiophile: Interests Hindustani Classic. (yet to get the equipment of my taste and need lots of vinyls)

2. Philately : A very popular one I assume. I am mostly interested in the Indian stuff. I collect First Day Covers, Information Brochures, Crossed Stamps along with the original stamps. Still need to work on my ability to organise this stuff in a proper manner.

3. Numismatist : The oldest one I have is 1858 given to me by my grandfather. Many more from pre-independence days. In addition I have the coins released from time to time but not so popular. Again I am working on organising my collection.

@ Mods please correct the spelling in the title. Sorry.

Hooby? What's that?
My Hobby is photography.

If I had enough Vitamin M and lots of free time, and the technical know-how, I'd love to work on cars in my own garage, modding them, servicing them or whatever possible - as a another hobby

My hoobies are:
  • Photography (not able to spend time on these lately ).
  • Computer games (racing and strategy, no FPS strictly).
  • Playing TT.
  • Writing code (believe me it is my hobby. As per definition of Hobby, writing code fits perfectly in my case).

Listening to music. Later trying to play the stuff I listen to on my guitar (mainly metal).

I also love to trek/hike and take photographs (although its a minor hobby as I do not even have a SLR, yet), read (lots of it, history/WW2 being a favourite topic of mine)

Maybe I can also say watching football is a hobby, but then most who know me personally would disagree as its not part time thing..it is almost a full time job for me (and not just during the world cup)
