I don’t have any problem as such. There is a very specific reason for which I am hunting for a 2006 or 2007 Patrol. If you or your friend could be of help on this, I would be really glad. You can email me on redcap.maverick@gmail.com. Looking forward to hear from you...

Would be really glad if you could get me with the contact details.. Just 1 bit.. I am specifically looking for a 2006 or prefereably a 2007 model... I am based in Mumbai but wouldnt mind travelling to Bangalore for a meeting with both of you. You can contact me on redcap.maverick@gmail.com

A 2006/7 Patrol would be very hard to find in India. They are not the first vehicle of choice for people who are importing them. And in any case, compared to the Prado/Land Cruiser/Pajero very few have been ever imported.

I am well aware that there's a derth of Patrol's in India, but I am very well aware that there are at least 2-3 of them which have been imported in the last 2 years in Mumbai itself. The greatest difficulty is that finding them is like locating a needle in a haystack..
If any one has any more infor please do mail me...

Your post makes it sound as if you have a problem. It should have read Wanted .........
If you want a particular car you dont only have to search a guy who owns it. Im sure any person in contact with a car dealer would be able to help you.

Absolutely right Ishan but I still feel that a Patrol is one of the most capable 4x4s one could own, if one could get over the sheer size of it.

Of course, it is Gogi bhai, no doubt about that. But we both know that SUV's in India were hardly ever imported based on their off-road abilities.

And yes, the size is truly humongous, with the biggest problem being the width. It does make the vehicle very planted but also make maneuvering it a tad diffcult.
