There was the day I made an extension lead.

First I attached the plug to the end of a real of cable. then I plugged it in so I could measure the required length. After having done so, I cut it to length.

Yes: you're right. I did leave something out!

There was a big bang and the lights went out. And I was very lucky to have (I guess) cut accross live and earth, as I never felt a thing.

Don't we all do some pretty damn stupid things sometimes?

shotguns are useless at removing wheel nuts. strategically placed plastic explosive works much much better. what a moron, how could he have NOT known that?

C'mon guys, he worked on this for two weeks - I'm sure he exhausted all the standard methods of nut-removal Seriously though, I wonder what could've caused it to jam so hard. Rust? or damage to the threads while putting it on?
