Isnt the first list of statistics, exclusively for the States? The truck + Camry sales seem to be in line with American car sales.

Interesting facts. It seems to be entirely for the US arena.
I guess India's not on the list,since the number of cars on the whole are not very high. The other countries listed have cars for local sales,and also a hugh chunk in export.
Please correct me if I'm wrong..

The most interesting but not surprising fact I found was for "accidental deaths", I guess you can say that for all countries worldwide.

For 2006 WORLD car sales broke down like this:

50 million total units sold world wide
20 million sold to U.S. buyers
15 million sold to West Europe
13 million sold to the ENTIRE Asian continent.

Its the right time to enter in top 10 for india as the Production plant for i10 is here only, and expecting other manufacturers also following the path......
