Wanted: 2002-03 Honda City Vtec

i want a clean OHC vtec.

preferably 02-03 model.

engine, chassis and overall in good shape.
non accidental.

budget is 3.5 lakhs. and can be increased depending on the condition of the car.

won't be swapping the engine so i need a clean engine.and will be driving it hard in the winding mountain roads so i need a clean non accidental chassis.

have searched the online second hand car sites but would prefer a car known to teambhpian coz i would be able to trust that.

area preferably north india near delhi and chandigarh but if i get a good car i would have no problem going down south.

IMO getting a clean VTEC for 3.5 is a steal. I would say increase budget to 5.5L for a good clean Vtec.

well the budget as i said can be increased.but i've seen very very clean vtecs going for a max 4.5

also i do NOT want a car thats been worked on-like body kit, performance mods etc. because these cars are bound to be thrashed.

also body kit would be useless to me as i'll keep the car in perfect stock condition only working on the suspension.

A good clean 2002-03 Honda City Vtec would fetch much better price than your max budget. Down south, prices are much higher, AFAIK - prices are lowest around Delhi/NCR region

3.5L and below are the correct prices for OHC vtec in delhi. Navpreet if you can wait till feb then Hondas very own pre-owned cars department " AUTO TERRACE " is gonna do a sales mela. They just did one recently and sadly i had my exams during that time. My friend in Honda says they sold 57 cars mostly OHCs and CRVs!

If you get a good clean 2003 OHC vtec for 3.5L in India, do let me know. I need 3 of them. Here they sell Santro for 2.5L to 3 L for 2003 model.

I have seen 2002 Vtecs going for 4.10 L even a month back, so if you want it from south, that is the minimum budget you can think of for a clean vehicle.

Man, 5.5 L is bangy price for a beat up old OHC Vtec. Please do enlighten me of any better deals in bangy.

My friend bought a Vtec in chennai almost a year back. here is his experience.

well here in dun and delhi the price is nearly 3.5-4.5 lakhs max.in 4.5 lakhs you get super clean low mileage 2003 model.

and rajat man kya yaar such a good deal gone.anyways lots more will come by.

bangy prices are high because of the high initial costs.the road taxes are maximum in bangy.

in 5.5 you get a reasonably clean 2003 ford mondeo in north india.

ok people my luck gave me another shocker.

a very very clean golden vtec, driven by a doctor was just sold day before yesterday for just 2.8 lakhs.

the fact that i know it was clean coz i myself had a look at the car at it was spottless.checked all the doors and other parts like bonnet etc.they were all originally installed peices.this was checked by the glue/plastic on the joints.
and it also had its service history clearly taken down.

what a car man.i even offered 3.0 for the car but the new owner just plainly refused.

Man.. 2.8 L for a VTEC. What model was it? I know that resale prices are very low compared to down south but hell 2.8 is cheaper than cheap.

I understand that Navpreet. Whoever lucky *** got that car, can put 50k kms on that car and still sell it for more price. Bah!

I have spread the word around. Will call you as soon as I find something good.

Any colour preferences? Hehehe (forget it dude. Even getting a clean Vtec is difficult)
