Bajaj To launch Rs 1000 bike!

MODS- I wasn't sure whether to start a new thread,and put this up on one of the 'Nano' related threads.. Please do the needful..
It sure was tough to resist;I had to share this with everyone.

Got this in the mail yesterday:

Bajaj may be capable of doing better - only that I hope they do not put it in a a six foot high enclosure.

Are you sure its 1000 not 10000?
Already there is one from global motors for 19000.

Pitty these bikers if they dp come out.... all i see on the road is bowling pins runnning around. waiting to get CRUSHED.

There arent bicycles available for Rs.1000, Lol. Not even a baby's trike. No way.

You know, if you could make that exact bike for 1K, out of that beautiful timber, I would buy it immediately.

Maybe they are planning to enter the bicycle market

I dont know if we can a bicycle today for Rs.1000/-

I am sure there is some mistake here, must be Rs.10,000/-

This obviously is a mockery of the launch of cheap vehicles. No stipulation of any sorts anticipated.
I found the info funny,and being someone who likes to share funny stuff,I decided to put it up here. Please do not look at it from any other aspect.

They are planning to enter pre-owned furniture market as well.

And that would feed supply chain for 1K bike

Great, Bajaj ripping us off once again. It should cost 500 bucks to put together by tribals. As if selling autorickshaws for 1.5 lakhs wasn't enough.
