Raghuvaran Passes Away

South Indian actor RAGHUVARAN passed away this morning at 7.30am. Last few years have seen him battle many a personal demon. May his soul rest in peace!! He had essayed many a memorable role in his career so far. A terrible loss - a truly gifted actor !

May GOD be with his family in this hour of need.

May his soul RIP.

Read in the paper that the reason for his demise is his addiction to alcohol. Another example of 'not all great people/actors are so great in their personal life' .

Very good actor indeed, I believe he has acted in Tamil, telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and also in Hindi movies.

i remember 'Oru manithanin kathai' (Story of a man) telecast in DD. He acted as an alcoholic in that one. Good actor with a bassy voice.

I am moved to tears, A very good actor. nice voice and amazing persona when it comes to negative roles.

Pity that alcohol had to kill him!!!

Sorry but a fact not many people know - he is actually from Kerala - Palghat actually! His mother tongue was MALAYALAM!

The rest of it is true!!

Heard this on the radio in the morning. Sad indeed.

A nice actor with a great personality too.

Always thought that he was from TN (Coimbatore). Strange. Could never detect even a hint of Mallu in his accent, which is usually tough to manage.

He belongs to and was born in a place called KOLLENGODE in Palghat District. His acting career took off from Coimbatore. He had spent a lot if his initial years in Coimbatore.
