Heaby rain all alone from Richmond Road area to Jayanagar. I got drencghed in the rain!! :D Good stuff :D
Only problem is my shoes got wet! :( Leather shoes!
Very heavy rain since half an hour in Bannerghatta road. Most of the roads are going to flood today,
Also heard heavy hailstones in Sadashiv Nagar.
Wow what a rain here in EC.
no hail yet this side :-(
Heavy rain in Bommanahalli, Electronic City, Richmond Road, Mathikere !! Cool....
Try avoiding the Hosur Road Fly over. The water clogged on fly over near the GHS/OXFORD college. vehicle moving at very slow speed. Better take the bottom, regular old road. Poor Design...
I miss Bangalore.
Have had a wonderfull time for the last 26 years.
You guys make me feel like quitting my job and coming back even though its not even 3 months since i am staying in Mumbai.
Whole of Indiranagar/Koramangala drenched.
It was nice driving through. Only fear is lest a tree falls on my car !
Anyone took ORR via Bellandur/Sarjapura junction/Agara/Silkboard today? How was the traffic situation? In view of the heavy rain and the newly started Flyover work at Bellandur(yeah now we have 4 constructions going on this route from Marathahalli to Silkboard, what a planning for a traffic disaster) it might be like war zone out there. Any updates?

I had left office at Prestige Tech Park in the thick of rains around 445pm. Poured like I dont remember seeing for long in Blr. The darkness was unbelievable with visibility of not more than 100 mts with vehicles blazing their lights on. I took the Volvo, the bus was stationary at sarjapur signal for more than half hr. Never expected to reach home at East End before 7pm. Pleasantly suprised, that it was quick light pile up at the Agara, HSR & Silkboard junctions. But I presume the buildup would have been very intense for those who left around 6pm.
Inspite of the delays, the rains lashing the large screens of the volvo was a wonderful experience and a sight to enjoy. Combined with rain numbers playing on FM, the whole bus seemed to be thoroughly enjoying the rains :)
Merki Circle was blocked like hell little while ago. I took half an hour to cross 2 KMS.
It rained sooo much today, waoo I loved the weather. I was sick and at home today, so fully enjoyed the awesome weather from my home's balcony. clap:
Finally had to go to Electronic City around 5.30 to pick my wife, but was in for a shock. The EC flyover was completely flooded on top and I unknowingly entered one flooded stretch at almost 80kmph. Felt like I suddenly jumped on the sand and lost the grip, but still managed to gain back the control. I've Michelins in my car and still could feel losing the grip, just wonder what would have happened on my earlier stock JKs!
Nice hailstorm today. Was enjoying it thoroughly until I remembered that my car was parked outside. Luckily there was no damage. The weather is great now. Reminds me of Steve Martin's line from Pink Panther: 'Its lovely wezzer ve are aveing....'
My car is super dirty after yesterday's rain :( but the drive in the rain was just too good.
In yesterday's heavy downpour, many vehicles were crushed by uprooted trees, as per today's Deccan Herald. Here is the report:

Driving @ 80kmph is really a risky at that streach while raining cos most of the places were filled by water.
It looks like the Flyover was fully flooded. The vehicle was going at moderate speed and the water was spilling over at the bottom from the Bridge. Poor bikers :( I was just watching the flyover traffic, it was nice.
Later in the evening there was also a back to back accident on the flyover. High speed was the reason. 3 vehicle was involved, once car\'s back side completely gone as a truck hit from behind.
