Today it's again Dada vs Dhoni.
Dhoni's bad run continues, this time outside the cricket field..
It seems yesterday Dhoni's Motorcycle had a puncture, in the outskirts of Chennai and he was left stranded on the highway. Police rescued him from an over-enthusiastic crowd and escorted him away in a car. From the pic that appeared in a local daily, it looked like an RD350!!!
Dhoni puts this one across Dada, though CSK seem to be scrapping to their victories. It is L,W,L,W,L,W so the next one will be a loss.

It might be true as they play against RCB tomorrow. But I hope that they repeat the last match against RCB and register a Win.
Noticed empty stands in the match yesterday.
IPL viewership will plummet this year, it seems. Sad...

You will get to see those in Chennai only. Read in the papers that there is some dispute between 2-3 authorities!

Yesterday we got to see the 'helicopter shot'.:) Though not a six, it was like a rocket and Nehra just about managed to get away from it way.

The stadium capacity was increased without getting the necessary permission from CMDA(city Planning agency). So ticket sales weren't allowed in those 2 stands (around 10,000 tickets).

Mike Hussey & Ben Hilfenhaus should join CSK
and Pattinson will join KKR hopefully.
Nopes, Pattinson has flown back from WI with an injury.
Another scrappy win for CSK. DADA was terrific in their win against DD, i think DD will start to fall after this one. Their batting is too much top heavy and nothing after that. Irfan Pathan should come at 5/6 not earlier.
Never before have I seen such a balanced IPL. Except for DC, everyone else is fighting their hearts out!

BTW, this new kid Appanna is terrific. He is outclassing Vettori. In his first match against PWI, he got his fellow coorgi Uthappa twice but the umpire refused to give him out.

It will be interesting to see how he does. If he can do well on the best batting track of IPL (Bangalore), it will augur well for him.
