Pujara if selected in playing 11 of CSK may need all 120 balls himself. Jokes apart I feel this is best for Che Pu and CSK.
The 14th edition of IPL will commence on 14th April 2021 till 30th May 2021. Six venues have been finalised for the whole edition, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai, with the playoffs and final to be held at the new stadium in Ahmedabad. The afternoon games will begin at 3:30 PM IST and evening games at 7:30 PM IST.

No team will have home advantage in the 2021 IPL
In this edition of the VIVO IPL all matches will be played at neutral venues, no team will play at their home venue. All teams will play at 4 out of 6 venues during the league stage.

Interesting development.
Suddenly, the strategic picks made by teams during the recent auctions to magnify their home strengths specifically may not suit them as originally intended.

In the previous IPL edition, Tata advertised the gold standard of hatchbacks with the Altroz— highlighting the music system and its
safest hatchback crown. I wonder if they will advertise safety with the Safari, or just a healthy dose of #reclaimyourlife and Land Rover pedigree will suffice.

The first match should have all 22 players being driven to the ground on the four shades of safari, that would be awesome advertisement.
That said it is a well thought of strategy, nothing better then IPL to place your product for showcase to country and the world.

Indeed. Us Indians do love us some cricket. I remember one of the commentators in the Star Select Dugout (IIRC) was rather enthusiastic about the paid promotion part of the contract— so much so that it got on the nerves of quite a few people on reddit match threads initially, but his persistence and enthusiasm slowly turned it into a meme, and you know, everyone loves memes. People at least remembered the name of the car, even if as a meme.
I really hope, Punjab Kings will do well this time. Always supported them Nd apart from 2018 Nd 2014, they always disappointed their diehard fans like me.

Problem with team is, they can’t play Universal Boss in all the games. At 1 stage, they’ll need to bring Malan to open with Rahul.

In the 2019 IPL, the commentators were driven to the stadiums in Tata Harrier. There were videos/vlogs being telecasted in the pre- & post-match shows.
I guess it would be the same this year as well.

That would be Graeme Swann.
He used to make fun of Tata Altroz by getting overexcited everytime it was shown during the match. Although he was being sarcastic it worked and Altroz got the publicity it wanted resulting in its sales numbers. Something similar may happen with Safari.

Don't see them dropping Gayle easily. Last year he was the one who brought momentum in their lacklustre season and they won a few once he was played. Malan might be first choice in place of Henriques.
So Mumbai (MI) Vs Bangalore (RCB) today, hopefully will be a good game. Wishing and hoping that RCB's new additions this year will make the team stronger and more consistent :) Of course MI are on a different level altogether, so it won't be easy.
On a lighter note, it's almost like a game of equals today because both these teams have exhibited the tendency to lose their first game of an IPL edition, so let's see who loses today rl:
2 runs needed off last 2 balls - will this be a loss from the jaws of victory after such a great show by AB deVilliers ? Damn, only RCB can do this!
