Dear Friends,
Finally, a proud newbie in team-BHP! Please allow me to thank all the Safari lovers/owners in Team BHP whose posts helped me take the decision to buy a Tata Safari VTT Dicor in June 2011. I've been a silent reader since 2011 January and tried to get on board a couple of time but failed. Can't explain how elevated I felt today after seeing my membership approval email!
I've been going through almost every post, review related to Safari and this is one thread I have always been visiting time and again to convince myself. As most of you, I've been passionate about Tata Safari since school days and it took almost 10+ years after my first job to own one. My Arctic white Lx has completed 14,500kms and is running fine till date.

List of (cosmetic) modifications:

•Being Lx had to get the cladding painted. Was done by the dealer as a free offer
•Got front nudge guard, again dealer fitted as part of offer
•‘Elegant’ Seat Covers (towel type)
•Aluminium side steps, sourced from Coimbatore
•OE alloys
•And yes, the decals of Toyota LC (2004 type).

Once again, thanks a lot guys. Your posts were indeed confidence inspiring!

No buddy, Its just well maintained thats it....

Only the spare wheel cover is Re-painted since it was replaced.

Oh dear! Thats indeed the best (well kept) safari I have ever seen. Its almost like a fresh coat of paint all over! Great Job. My arctic white one looks dirty though I clean it very often. Seems I need to follow the 'Car detailing thread' religiously.

Hello Team & all Safari owners,

I saw a few pics of Safari on Off-road tracks. If any of you are enthusiasts of Off-Roading, plesae refer to www.tatamotorsfullthrottle.com.

This is a dedicated team for all offroading lovers. thay have organised quiet a few events recently in Ludhiana, Chandigarh, Konkan & latest Lonavala on 7th Oct-12.

They share a detailed plan for all future events & logs of those successfully completed along with pics & Videos on the mentioned website.
I was part of the lonavala event & trust me it was a great fun & learning experience to be a part of.
There were in all 17 Safari (Mostly 4x2's) & 1 each of Xenon (4x4) & Sumo.
My camera ditched me of its batteries & hence, I am in follow up with a team photographer, who will be sharing Pics with me shortly. Will be sharing them as well. Mean while attached are few. I am in car#7 & have hidden the face of one of the team photographers in my car. Will be posting Video of one of the challenge tomorrow after editting.
