Thanks for the appreciation. The first pic is near Kufri enroute Chahal. This was clicked around republic day holidays.

My safari is now two years and a month old and the STORME has been quite alluring ever since it was launched. But just one look at the white elephant; my money stays safe in the bank!

Here is my Beast. Perhaps the latest entrant to Team-BHP Safari club

Variant - Safari LX 2.2 VTT Dicor

Color - White (Not the pearl but snow)

Fondly calls it - The Beast (Common but apt for this beauty)

KM done till Date - 4500 Km. No long ride yet but planning something grand this winter.

ICE - Blaupunkt Head unit. JBL 220 watt speakers for all 4 slots. Not a music freak kind of person so this accommodates my music need.

Tyres - Stock tyres. Find the factroy fitted Bridgestone tyers sufficient till now.

Wheels - Stock. No plan of changing

Likes:

1. Road presence
2. Power and the thrill that you get while driving the beast
3. Driving comfort when on long trips
4. Acres of space – I mean it is a 2 BHK on wheels
5. View from the cockpit – Feels like a king

Dislikes:

1. Huge turning radius. A truck might be taking less area to turn
2. Pathetic plastic inside the cabin. I am sure even the toys sold in Kumbh Mela must have better quality Plastic
3. Krr, Krr sound when you turn the wheel full, either direction
4. 3rd row seat is disparaging. The designer must be booked for criminal conspiracy for 3rd row seat alone
5. Finishing of the vehicle not upto the mark of a 11 Lakh car

I used see this Safari almost everyday..

Safari XT. When was this launched.

There is no such variant in Safari.

It seems that the owner of this Black Beast has changed the variant name from LX/EX/VX to XT and has taken XT from TATA Xenon XT.

The 'XT' seems to be from Xenon. Not an original fixture. :)

How many kms have you clocked till now?

Thanks! It has clocked 61k kms with no major fuss till date. Just got the AC condenser replaced under warranty last week.
