Hi adc. That is a great route. Did you guys go to Chandratal from Kunzumla? If not maybe next time. Any way this route needs to be travelled several times in a life-time. We done this in an unbelievingly battered Sumo. Bought the Safari just for these routes. Great pictures.
How many of you in the Safari? Stayed in tents or on-the-way accomodation?

adc the pics are great and eagerly waiting for the travelouge

ADC & TSK reclaiming your life in full swing with the places you guys have visited and making your own roads on the sand and snow.

Keep enjoying your ride on The King

Hi BHPians,

This is ma Ride. The baby is just 5 months old. Crossed 18000kms and she's still as she was on Day1.

Need to add all the accessories. Would love to get guidance from ma seniors, Can u just help me with it.

:uncontrol

On a more serious note ram.west, leave this habit of typing ma, u and such short SMSey words. Thats considered an offence on the board. Read the rules mate and make an effort to type in the whole words (I mean proper English words).

By the way, 18000 kms in 5 months?!! :Shockked: Mate, if you don't mind my asking so, what do you exactly use this vehicle for?

@TSK, #5 is a beauty.

@ADC, envy you. That's what the truck is supposed to be used for ! Waiting for the travelogue.

Getting dirty is not dirty !

Condor, the travelogue already is up and spinning pages by the day. :)
Check it out. Some awesome snaps there.

ADC, TSK,

You guys should sell your photos of the Safari to Tata motors for their product brochures! With such photos, I'm sure the sales charts of the Safari will get to an alltime high!

cheers!

Safari Guys, i think we need to give this some serious thought.

Start looking at your Safari pics and post some best shots here. Let me do some calling at TATA's on this suggestion.

How much does it cost to paint the side claddings and the bumpers in a Safari LX? Both at the dealer's and outside?

When I had Checked with the dealer for this about 4 months back he had informed me that this would cost 17000/Rs.
I have no clue on how much it would it would cost outside.

Thats a total waste of time and money.

A Safari looks better with the grey claddings. Let it be that way than repenting for some tiny small scratches gifted to you by the traffic.:D

If you want to get it done, please dont go to the dealer, they do an awful job. Find someone who's a pro in your locality.

The costing would be around 15000 to 20000.

Post your Safari Pics dude... We are waiting.cheers:

Can EX owners pls give their comment on whether they would have liked their safaris without the body-colored side claddings/bumpers, i.e., grey?

Would definitely like to save money, but I was of the opinion that the body-colored claddings/bumpers look better. But that may just be my perspective. If more and more safari owners can write back to say one way or the other, it will help me in making a decision.
