Blasts in Thane, 5 casualties

Just heard from folks that there have been a blast near Gadkari Theater which is one of the busiest areas in town. The area has been sealed off until further notice. Folks, take care & tread with caution. Doesn't look any good after the recent blasts in Jaipur and now Thane.

Its high time we have a KGB/Mossad-style wet operations unit inside India. Its extremely saddening to see India under seige like this.

Very sad news and Mag is right about having a wet operations unit in India. We did have RAW but dont know whether its wet operations unit or not..

Luckily it was not act of sophisticated terrorists and was a crude bomb, so damage was limited. Injuries were results of "disturbing" the bomb without involving authorities.

Minor blast reported in Thane, Maharashtra

No life lost. Phew!!! That's a relief atleast.

As per the link, it doesn't seem like it was a bomb attack or so.
