Exact Tyre Pressure

Hi Folks,

About two weeks ago i filled air at a local tire shop, he checked the air pressure with the traditional tool(a meter with a tube attached to it). He said the air is very less so filled more air up to 30 PSI.

Well two weeks later I filled air at a petrol pump using the new digital machines and to my surprise the air in the tires was showing up to 40 PSI and the excess air was taken out from the tires.

So which method of filling will give you the exact tire pressure.

Swapnil,

There are several several discussions on tire/tyre pressure that already exist on Team-BHP.

Please do a search and do a lot of reading before continuing in one of the many threads you will find.

Thread closed.
Thanks,
R
