When I asked them about required qualification, they smiled and said, "passion for these sports". I understood that they do not ask for any sales experience. When I asked if the candidate should have a degree, they said, "would be nice to have".

Minimum 3 years’ experience in data warehousing projects with excellent hands on experience in SSIS and T SQL.

(SSAS+MDX) Developers:

Can you confirm if IGATE has any strict educational criteria? Like so much percentage and marks needed in 10th/12th boards and graduation. And whether graduation is done full time or from an open university, whether there are gaps in education etc.

I am asking this because I have done my graduation from IGNOU, and due to this I have been shooed off the gates of companies like TCS, Infosys, Accenture etc. without being interviewed.

In general, i do not see such criteria explicitly mentioned. I can share the JD for you based on which role and the associated job code that i would have posted.

Finally some requirement has popped up in my organization Adobe. Interested people send me their profiles with the positions given below, that would prevent me from uploading the profile against a wrong job.

1. Job 1: Position: Experience Designer
Location: Bangalore
Requirements:
Proven experience of working with desktop software or web-based software systems
Knowledgeable about Adobe Products
Passionate and knowledgeable about interaction and user interface design
Expert in use of Photoshop, Illustrator or Fireworks - or other design and prototyping tools
Able to communicate clearly and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team

Requirements
3-5 Yrs of experience of programming in Javascript with exposure to jQuery, Backbone JS, etc
Bachelors in Computer science from a Premiere institute
Good understanding of Object Oriented Programming.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
Strong team building skills.
Ability to solve problems and look at solutions from different perspectives
Have the right focus towards best practices like coding standards and other.
Experience on Server side Technologies such as SOAP/Restful Web-Services.
Experience with JavaScript and cross-browser support issues desired

Job 3:

Position: Member of Technical Staff / Computer Scientist Adobe Social
Location: Noida
2 to 7 years of hands on design / development experience.
B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering or related field/degree from a premier institute.
Eager to pick up new skills and learn independently.
Interest in social media and/or brand marketing.
Basic knowledge of at least one web programming language (Ruby/Rails, PHP, Java, etc.)
Hands on product development knowledge are a must
Ability to work independently with strong problem solving skills.
Knowledge of product life cycles is a plus.

Job 4:
Position: Member of Technical Staff / Computer Scientist : Acrobat
Location: NOIDA
1 to 8 years of hands on design / development experience
B.Tech / M.tech in computer science and engineering from a premier institute
Good understanding of object oriented design and knowledge of product life cycles and associated issues
Technical depth in operating systems, computer architecture and OS internals
Proficient in C++, data structures and algorithms
Solid programming/debugging/troubleshooting skills in system / application level
Skills in analyzing software performance and benchmarking.
Ability to work independently with strong problem solving skills
Knowledge of product life cycles is a plus
