Another suspected bomb like object found near forum junction, advise all to cancel their outings to public areas and enjoy with friends/ family at home, for this weekend atleast.

Outgoing calls from all mobile services were stopped, but incoming calls from landlines were allowed through. This was a good precaution since there was a speculation that the devices were triggered by cellphones. That was before they found the actual mechanism.

Today Ahmedabad is tartgeted.........both Karnataka/Gujarat are ruled by BJP.

13 blasts reported-yet to confirm.

So,sad........for few people's benefit public is affected.

These people should be taught a lesson.

btw they also found and diffused one more bomb outside forum today - i don't know if this one was gelatin stick or what but it was all over the tv with the bomb squad guy holding 2 pieces in his hand

Yes, another one diffused which was present near forum mall in a bucket.

So, for all we know, these people are not yet done! But then, these kind of speculations will only lead to more chaos and panic in the public!

And sad thing about Ah'mbad! They seems to have got a very bad deal! Poor people!

Doesn't the timing of the intrusion by the PAK army across the LOC seems a bit too coincidental now? Do not know if my logic is crazy, but isnt this the best way to give safe passage thru a border - create a diversion at another spot!

Very much true, I was thinking same! Terrorists have realized India's security has some loopholes and they are trying to take best advantage of it now I guess and I guess worse things to come soon :( in August because in media I saw like more such incidents they will try during August 15th.

Someone predicted in couple of years 95% chance of word was is expected and also almost 5km of coast area will be covered by sea further

Message from Bangalore Police Department

The police surely deserve a big thanks. They are really moving advance. First the traffic cop with those SMS of information on dead-lock traffic locations and now this. Surely a good idea.

Hope we citizen also participate in these to help them give us a secured living.

looks like the ad for the DNA newspaper.

agree: these are the ads by DNA newspaper posted all over banglore, with most of the people in the adds from banglore(could identify 6 of them :))
DNA is launching in banglore sometime this month, which has it newspaper circulation in Delhi and AFAIK in Bombay too..

I saw in Media and heard from friends just 20 minutes back that near Nagarbhavi Circle (Vijayanagar area) there is bomb blast without any damage! Thank GOD.

Things are spread for over 100meters from the Blast area which is next to BUS STOP, from inside bad items dumped area.

I hope in India governement will drive attention fast to get rid of unwanted stuffs from everyhwere. Creating awareness in people is another important thing. I saw its in people's hand to keep the area clean and neat. Example every month I clean my neighbour's empty site because I don't want to see bad things every day from my house :) If we avoid dumping the waste items in wrong place I can see lot of thigns will improve.
