Honda city 1.3 EXI, suggestions please

I had started looking out HONDA CITY (either 1.3 or 1.5) with an budget of Rs.3.5 Lakhs before 5 months. Most important specifications of my requirement is, it should have done less than 40000 kilometers on the Odometer & it should be a single owner vehicle.

As the time passes, I had slowly increased my budget in different phases upto Rs.4.6 lakhs. Also I got addicted to the crystal clear back lights & 1.5 EXI model. Inspite of increasing my budget, I was not able to strike any deal.

I got a call from one of the vehicle owner with whom I rejected his offer then because of higher pricing. He has come down in his pricing. The specifications are

HONDA CITY 1.3 EXI
1999 MODEL
C.Insurance (expiring this month end)
Annual Tax
Single Owner
25800 Kilometers done with complete service records
Peacock Blue color
Price=3.35 lakhs fixed

Earlier (two months back) he quoted 3.55 lakhs & now he had brought down the price by 20K.

Is this deal fine?

P.S :
1. The insurace payment part will be taken care by my employer
2. This is a accident free vehicle
3. Minor scratches on the left hand side bumber
4. Left hand side miror is not there

I say go for it. Since the prices are a notch higher than Bombay, I feel this is a very good deal. But is this Type 1 or Type 2 City ?

What is TYPE-1 OR TYPE-2

type 1 was the first model the one with regular head lights

type 2 has clear head lamps and jewel effect tail lamps

if the car is good go for it. my hondas have never given me any problems. both the 1.3s are running like clock work and they have seen only regular services. very good car.

It was a type-1 vehicle. TYPE-2 is really attractive.

if all u say is legit its a good deal. for 3.25 u can get it for. try if u can its a good price as what u state too. kms are too low. whats the reason u have a doubt though ?

IMO it would be better t go in for type 2 city 1.5 exi or vtec

u can get a type 2 for around 3.90 just search. doubt ull get low milege though

You will get a type 2 1.5exi for that price though mileage as jesal said wont be less.

Well considering all the prices down south, this really sounds like a good deal.
Go for it or come to Mumbai, buy one and drive it back home...

I got a 1.3 exi 2000 oct

type 2 color is pinkish silver!

42k kms, nice paint , no dents, very good vehicle for 2.75 lakhs

full service history, and no insurance or tax.
