Thanks c10 - I will find a 1100 to test this out. I tried it out on most of the newer generation Series 60 and Series 80 handsets but no chance there - I have seen this radar icon on a phone (Nokia 3xxx - pretty old model) that I tried out when I was in Yemen but there werent any speed radars around there to test whether this alleged detector works.

I found this cheat code along with a lot of other Nokia cheatcodes which worked so I'm tempted to believe that this one does, too.

So what was the "radar-like" sign that two of us saw on Nokias?

I'm gonna find a 1100 and check it out, even if it means I take it from one of our drivers.

Sure my friend...no harm in trying it out...the radar sign is probably a hidden function....i did try the codes on my 7600 but didn't get anything...Good luck!!!
