Thanx for this tip,we have been on a sandwich hunt all over the city for the past 1 week to find out the best place, and sadly none of the ones we visited qualify to be good!!So we ended up naming the mediocre ones as good for want of choice!!Will check these two places.thanks

This is a place that i quite like for their sandwiches and juices, "Oranges N Lemons", in Jubilee Hills. Good decent place, very chilled out, comfy counches and all while still being very reasonable. Do also check out their massive parking area too. They will serve you even there.

Oranges N Lemons.
Plot No. 1029, Road No. 45, Beside Monster.com, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

Was it mutton or chicken and how much was it priced at.?

New lead??? Waseem, Blue Fox has been there for ages and one of the best restuarant to eat any cuisine. Though owned by a telugu person serves amazing food irrepsective of cuisine

Coming back to your query.

I eat only mutton biryani. Unless ofcourse, Rajesh Rawal is around:D

Between the 4 of us, we ordered 2 MB's and a friend paid the bill but, i think the biryani is priced Rs.260 or little more range.

+1 on that Avi. One of the best eateries in Himayat Nagar area. Love the food at Blue Fox.

Where is the location of this pani puri outlet in Begum Bazaar?

Btw, yesterday that tangy chutney was damn spicey and thicker than ordinary. Also, no pather ka ghost as it wasnt a sunday.

It is near to Pragathi College. If you go towards Abids from pragathi college, you will come across a T-junction, take left here and after around 100m you will see it on the left side.

Oh! its just before the erstwhile Surya theatre. Been sometime that i been in that lane except for buying books on sunday some weeks ago.

If i am not wrong its a Nestle's Bar cum restaurant.

I seldom visit B-cum restaurants, unless accompained by friends who want to visit for different reasons.

Its very much a new lead for me, i wouldn't have visited it otherwise.

Will surely visit tomorrow evening for mutton biriyani.

Didnt understand this one?

Its not a regular bar and restuarant. Its one of the best fine-dining restuarants in our city. They make a Nati Kodi Pulusu with equal panache as they make a Chilly Chicken

Its owned by Babul Reddy who also owns the following restuarant

a) Pick n Move
b) Other outlets of Blue fox
c) Siddhartha Hotel
d) Spicy King
e) Palace Heights

If this is the case, then you should try the Paani Puri at Begum Bazaar. Been a patron of his for ages & believe me or now, he uses ice cold mineral water to make the Paani for Paani Puri, the Paani Puri tastes amazing with Ice Cold Paani. The perfect mixture of Steaming Hot Chanaa's with Ice Cold Paani makes it a worthwhile experience.

Please give me the exact location?

Will it be open at 11am?

I will be in Begum Bazar to pick up the dry fruits for Diwali from Om tomorrow.

If possible, mark it on GoogleMap/Wikimapia for me.

Thanks!

I am very loyal to my vendors and so for dry fruits it is always and only Sri Om Company (Dry Fruits & Kirana Merchants), 15-7-378, Begum Bazar, Hyderabad - 500012 ; Tel. : 2474-1458/2461-4293. Wikimapia - Let's describe the whole world!

Check him out and also the whole lane for the best price and best quality.

My main purpose is to pick up Cashews (180 count : 180 pieces make a kilo) which I rarely find elsewhere. His price for 180 count is Rs 700-800 per kilo while for 220 count it is Rs 550 per kilo.

Begum Bazar is a haven for dry fruits. Visit BB and take a walk around in the left lane at Chatri and you will see lot of shops to get an idea of whats available.

OT: Begum Bazar probably has more crorepatis in one compacted area than any other area in Hyderabad.

I buy almonds from a store in First Lancer, Masab Tank. It comes on the right hand side after you cross Alfa bakery on the left.
Rs 400 a Kilo.

This shop has a pickle shop right next to it.
He also stocks and sells pistachios/ walnuts and dry figs.

The prices are quite reasonable.

Almonds at just Rs.400 a Kilo?:Shockked:

Isn't Almonds supposed to be way costlier than cashewnuts which as Bajaj saab quoted much higher than this price in previous post?

Almonds are between 400 and 440 per kg.

Ask for Kagzi Badam price but ensure to wear seat belts and be tied down before you do so!!!

Bajaj saab, any idea what is the price for Chilgoza. I see them at Karachi Bakery and the price was around 1,200 a kilo.

My local vendor does not have these. 1,200 is too high a price but these are so rare here. Have not eaten them in such a long time. Please help.

Thanks.
