Strangely when one tries for the Bandra office in Mumbai, it just keeps saying invalid PF number and in the message the two slashes are put together automatically instead of ignoring one slash (for employees who do not have a sub-org code)

Absolutely spot on. I am also trying the same thing and am the receiving end. My application shows as received on 9th July , but still no credit to my account. BTW, the two slashes are perfectly ok as it signifies null. As a workaround , you can tyy using zeros instead of null.

I too have account at Bandra office (Code MH) and my account does not have any extension code. Balance inquiry worked for me, got an SMS after 15 - 20 mins with balance.

When I put up a claim for my PF from my company, I had submitted 2 forms, one Form 19 for PF settlement and another form 10C for withdrawing from the Employees Pension Scheme.

Now, after a long wait of 4 months, I just noticed that an amount had been credited to my account from the PF Office. Is the payment given in one single transaction or will there be two different transactions for PF and EPS?

I did not know how much I should have received, hence the doubt. Please help

Is there a need to submit two seperate forms to transfer PF and Pension Fund amounts?

I had submitted Form 13(revised) only since it refers to Pension Fund also.

Don't know exactly. I remember signing 2 forms. One for EPF and the other for EPS. Is there only one form now?

btw, I signed the forms and sent it to my previous employer in April and they had submitted it to the PF Office in June and I got a payment in September

Oh ok. u wanted to withdraw right? then its 2 forms.
i wanted to transfer. then its one form only.

sorry for the confusion.

My wife was working in a company in Pune. She left her job and applied for PF refund. It has been more than 10 months, but the amount has not been credited to her bank account.

I smell something fishy. Where can I lodge a complaint ? What information would be required for lodging the complaint ?

Rohan

^^^ 10 months is fine, it usually takes 6 - 18 months for credit to be processed.

Thanks for the reply. So the time frames for PF refunds are similar to those of IT returns.

I was a bit concerned because the company where my wife was working is now on the verge of closing down. It is a company of foreign origin and they are planning to shutdown the India office. Many have already been laid off and the company is operating with minimum strength.

Is there anything we can do from our side to expedite the process of PF refund ?

Since she has already applied for PF refund, do we have anything to worry about even if the company gets shutdown completely in India ?

Oh... PF transfer needs support from both HR teams. This does call for services of some consultant to get things rolling ASAP.

Or you can raise an RTI to query status + action taken report.

There's a link called 'Register your grievance online' on the left panel of the EPFO website.

Saw this on another thread, you may want to give it a shot since it seems to cover EPF also:

EDIT: Here's the link to register your grievance/complaint:

Got the right thread to post my query

I would like to with draw my PF amount of the previous employer. I had filled in the forms and while submitting it to the HR, they asked me to give a declaration stating am not employed elsewhere. I am currently employed .

Can some one tell me if this letter is mandatory to withdraw. Also they are asking for my SB account statement for last 6 month. I have only one account and that's my salary account. Will I have any issue if I provide this account?

Is there any way I can withdraw my PF?

My wife has not joined another company, so she has applied for PF refund (not transfer).

She spoke to the HR, they say that they have taken the necessary action from their side, but the EPF department is delaying the refund because of technical reasons.

I guess we could wait for a couple of months and then take further action.
