Well if you want it to look like the screen shots posted by Cyrus, then a Nvidia 8800 GT would be the minimum. I am using a 8600 GT with 512 MB of video ram, and prostreet does not look this good.

I hate those limited designs you can make on the autosculpt mode. NFS underground 2 had soooo many different permutation-combinations. Also, i hate the fact that you cant just put a big muffler tip on a stock body!! I hate those stupid big BUMpers!

It is going to be a bit hardware thirsty too, I guess.

Most wanted style of gameplay is what we want with an option of switching off cops for novices. Just bring the Underground 2 kind of modifications. Not too complicated but very satisfying.
I want night and day in one go! Hope this one has some option for that.

Going by the present hardware standards set by games like Colin MacRae dirt,etc, I am sure that the recommended will be around Nvidia 7300 or something in that range, but if you really want to enjoy the game, then you will atleast need the 8600. My friend recently bought 8400 GS, and then bought Deveil May Cry 4, and the game is not playable at many stages. This Undercover will surely have more hardware requirement than Pro-street, and so atlesat 8600 serries car are required.

8600gt will be able to play the game even at medium settings. But anything beyond that and the frame rates will drop to non playable. 8800gt will be able to handle this game and then only it will real fun for this game. IMHO, there is no point in playing a game without full setting, as it takes away the basic fun and charm involved.

This game looks awsome.
I loved Most Wanted but my poor laptop couldn't handle it and I stopped playing it.
I then got myself a PS3 and am still playing Pro Street, have completed around 30% of it only. I don't get much time to play.

My friend played this game on his recently acquired 9600GT and enjoyed it to max. His rating is 100/100 and tell me its awesome.
He is a big fan of NFS series and tells the best NFS to ever arrive were Most wanted and Porsche unleashed.
So this game must be excellent.
Can we have screen shots when the game is being played ?
