I am so excited but its a pity I might not be attending the greatest event in India this December.

LOL. I thought you were talking about car audio. Here I come and see that its structured query language. I am sure I am not the only one to think so, there will be many other who will visit this thread thinking the same. In Team-Bhp SQL belongs to the ICE section.

Lol even i thought it was sound quality level.
then i saw the oracle thing and was still wondering if this guy's an sql guru whats it got to do with oracle.
then i realised that oho sql is some computer thingy.

Why is that? He seems to be an Oracle guru. SQL is not same as Oracle, SQL is used in all RDBMS, not just Oracle.

Boss he is not just SQL guru, he know in and out of Oracle. Whether as developer you need him or as DBA (Database Administrator). So you can't restrict TOM with SQL only. I guess Title is more justified now.

And do we need to have member with AIOUG to attend this session or what ?

Guru is right. This guy is a walking encyclopedia on Oracle database software and has a great understanding of the "structured query language". I was mighty thrilled when I got him to answer a question of mine, many years back.

However, I wish people do their homework before shooting off stupid questions at him, like they usually do on his site.
