This will require much more - I can see the need for new tires, new tubes, a new chain, and probably a lot more (cables, etc). Suggest getting an estimate from a local cycle shop to understand what all changes are needed. Maybe taking in the financial offers here might not be a bad idea. Good to pool in (I’m game too).

P.s. what’s the size of this cycle (and the one behind)? I’m thinking the bigger mongoose might be a better option for a 10 year old; unless you don’t want to give that one away of course

Giving away my old Canon EFS-18-55 Kit lens.

Why giving away?
It fell down once, and from then onward the auto-focus started glitching. The UV filter broke. But the UV filter rim got stuck with the ring.

It still works!
The manual focus works fine though. Optics are working fine. No misalignment observed so far.

Useful for someone who want a backup lens or have patience and connect to get this fixed. Anyways, I am giving away because I got a new replacement lens and using that already.

It was used with D5000 and D5600 later.
Spare as I got a new Flash SB600.

Sorry for going off topic.

But the last line reminds me of a dear colleague who, after his retirement from Government service, ended up investing close to three lakhs on a new camera. This, after spending half the amount just a year ago. He is a hobbyist photographer interested in capturing human emotions through candid pictures as well as by clicking photos of stage performances of dramas. The gentleman roams around in his Ecosport carrying a projector and randomly visits government schools to show the children the beauty of humanity captured through his cameras.

One of the rare examples around me who have taken to their hobbies in a big way and have remained super active even after superannuation.

Mentioning him on this thread is appropriate because of the way he disposes off his old equipments to young enthusiasts at really throwaway prices. Has made him a darling of the budding photographers of our group!
