Franky if its as it seems that is "track racing" its gonna be another failure like the second last one.i don't even remember what its name was.pro street i think.

Track racing just doesn't cut it.Free roam is what is the new order of games.be it racing or other games like GTA etc.

I am excited. The problem is this. Out of Carbon, Pro-street and Undercover, Carbon was the best.
NFS needs to think more about what they are trying to achieve. No specific track racing game is required.
We want a game as good as MostWanted, HotPursuit 2 and Porsche Unleashed.

Without this, NFS will die a silent death.

When was the last time an NFS game impressed? Most Wanted, I think. And that came after Underground 2 which was a letdown imo. Everything after Most Wanted has been "meh, whatever". I think I'll pass on this one too. EA should go bankrupt.

I second that. NFS without cops = boring except for NFS2 and Porsche.

If we want to race on track we will just play GT5 etc.

EA has shifted focus to better things in life.... Like Burnout. That's Pawnage!

Related question. I have NFS Undercover full version on my mobile phone. Have progressed into the last round "outskirts" so far with a souped up Audi RS4! In every round I have struggled with the "cop take out" race where we are expected to destroy cop cars which chase you. I am still not clear about the strategy of hitting them to cause the required damage so that it can be totalled. Sometime they simply crashes out with a small nudge in low speeds, and other times nothing happens even if I get it sideways with Nitro assist. Any clues?

Exactly what I think. Just confining gamers to some fixed races will not be enough. I'd love it if NFS comes as a racing game including all that one can do in GTA.

I like Test Drive Unlimited for that matter. Now TDU2 is around the corner! Watch some of those screenshots and be amazed.

NFS has come a long way in terms of graphics. Even thought Shift cannot be compared to GT5. It's still way better than what it used to be.

Infact, most games like Forza3, PGR4, Grid, Dirt2, F1 2010 etc have very good graphics.
