Brigade Gateway - Malleswaram, Bangalore

Has anyone booked an apartment in this project? I am contemplating one, and I wanted to talk to anyone who might know anyone who is holding an apartment in this property.

There have been some issues of non completion and delay for a year, and I wanted to know how existing owners are being compensated for this delay. Have a host of other questions too.

Check this out: Brigade Group

You see the Columbia Hospital next to Metro Cash & Carry on Yeshwanthpur? That hospital is a part of this enclave. Can you beat that? I was stunned.

Ok, this is the one that is actually located behind Metro, isnt it ? This property is nowhere close to the actual Malleswaram area we know though technically, it just might carry a Malleswaram West address and hence my above query. Don't know about the hospital being part of that enclave because it is actually across the road ! I actually live very close to this place. One of my friends did book an apartment there about two years back but he is now in the UK, if possible, will check with him about the status and revert.

That will be fantastic Kannan. Actually, this area covers 40 acres. So it stretches all the way from pipeline road down into Malleswaram. I did not believe it until I actually went and saw it. They have a private boulevard/road running right across the project connecting Yeshwanthpur to Malleswaram! This runs parallel to Rajkumar road.

red liner,

we booked an apt there in Nov-2006. price was around 5K per sft that time i think + a ton of extra charges. we never believed the completion dates they claimed but we were not concerned because we need this apt only after a couple of years.

every time i go past that project i get scared, it is super huge and i am not sure of the impact it will have on the neighbourhood, it will be a million times more congested than Forum neighbourhood. so i am never convinced about the purchase we made - but unfortunately there is no alternative in our cities. if you want a quiet neighbourhood such hostel/campus projects are the only option.

compensation for late completion. hmmm.. they mentioned it in the contract. i haven't followed it up, maybe i should ping them on of these days. however i don't think the compensation should be such a big factor in your decision making. it is pittance compared to the money involved and they do give it i think (i heard they paid compensation in their other projects like millennium, etc.)

there is a resonably active google-group http://groups.google.com/group/BGHOA (it used be open, but now restricted to members) maintained by few owners.

what price are they asking these days?

@venky, Pudhu caru, pudhu veedu, kalakure chandru!!!

sudheesh, that is an good pics. Man ,that's hugeeee and in heart of city. As other members pointed out, its gonna be too crowded when completed.

On the other hand, nice to see man made lakes, gardens etc are all planed. Some effort from humans to keep this earth green for some more days ...
