Ice falling (hail storm) in Bangalore

Guys

Just went to Cunningham road. Its a hailstorm [ Is it the right term ] in here. Ice is falling in small pebbles format. Was concerned about the vehicles parked outside. Did anyone catch the cubes ?

At this afternoon time? Yes its a hail storm. Has to be really severe and big size hail to damage the cars.

Actually not untill the cubes get inside the car.

No such thing in Airport Road.

Weather God has a sense of humour alright, dry days due to elections and he peppers us with ice cubes.

And that will cost a lots of FREEZER loads to get onto the road buddy

On the serious note, how much effect does the hailstorm have on our beauties. I am worried about dents being formed on the roof of the cars

This was on the cards given the excessive heat we have been experiencing for the 10 odd days. Am glad it's finally raining and I am quite happy as I am harvesting the rain water. Am really enjoying it.

Went out to see whats up. You can hear the thunder near Marathahalli. Been raining in different part of city since Friday.

High temps (36 C) for a week and it starts to rain and cool. Reminds you why its such a lovely city.

Hailstones after so many years in Bangalore - AFAIK.

Just heavy drizzles in Bangalore East - near ORR.
