Anyone with contacts in the French or Indian Counsulates

I am trying to get a VISA for my two day trip to Paris( Ya ya short stay but student baba ) beginning the 22nd of June. However the French counsulate in London won't let me have an appointment before my deaparture date.

I have already commited to a Friend that I would be reaching Paris on the 22nd of June and hence would appreciate any help/ alternate solutions (apply for a Schengen Visa for some other country )! in getting a VISA appointment with the French Counsulate in London .

You can try the German consulate/Italian/Swiss. No point trying the Indian consulate. Doubt they will be able to help you.

You can only apply to another country for a Schengen visa if you can prove you are going there. By attaching your travel ticket with your application.

Fi you get a Schengen visa from the French Consulate you will have to either travel into france first or prove france is your main destination.
