Best Jingles of TV Serials/ Ad's from 80's & 90's

80's was the decade that changed Indian TV / Audio-Visual Media industry. This was the time, when we used to wait for that Sunday evening "Feature Film", or a Chitrahaar, or "Yeh Jo hai Jindagi" so on & so forth.

The other day, somehow one of my favourite TV Jingles came to my lips & I was just murmuring it. The harsh realities of life for so many years made it hard for me to remember most other Jingles which were so popular at that time. Pls share your favourite jingles & help reminisces old times!!

Here is one of my favourites, Its from a TV serial (is it serial or film, not sure) called "Subaha". another one is from a TV serial called "Neenv" but I could not remember it:

Ae jamane tere, aey, aey
Samne aa gaye,
aaj ke daur ke, aey, aey
naujawan aa gaye,
ghar pe tere,
banke suraj,
leke subaha aa gaye ab hum,
subaha ko kar salam
subaha ko kar salam

The jingle for serial "Neenv" (foundation) started with something like "Dharati".

Got it (Neev title). Also remembered the last 2 lines of Subha Tile song

Ae jamane tere, aey, aey
Samne aa gaye,
aaj ke daur ke, aey, aey
naujawan aa gaye,
dar pe tere,
banke suraj,
leke subaha aa gaye ab hum,
subaha ko kar salam
subaha ko kar salam
Maut aur Zindagi
Douno Hairan hai
Ae jamane tere, aey, aey

Neev Title (what a fantastic serial it was, would love to get a hand in some CDs/DVDs of this serial, if available)

dharti par suraj ki kirne
rakhe neev uzale ki
vidya ke prakash se roshan neev
bane vidayalaya ki
neev agar mazboot ho manav dharti
par aaakash bane koi gandhi
koi nehru koi veer subhash bane

It was an ad for Operation Flood, the government's initiative for increasing milk production. The jingle went like "Doodh, doodh, doodh... piyo glass full" and the male voice is Kunal Ganjawala. The ad is available on Youtube.

Cheers!

thanks, Dueller. Imdtly after posting about 100% ice cream I realised that Sohail is right, it was a milk ad but could not remember which one.

& Sohail - yes, that one was 1 very catchy jingle particularly the lines "Doodh, Doodh, Doodh......" in a very rich voice

Wow. Surely brings back the old memories, those times, when at some places we needed to change the direction of antennae to tune to different relay stations at different times - someone doing it from outside, the other giving directions from in front of TV - "thoda aur, thoda aur ghumao, bas, thik hai". Aah

that Ek Anek ad is eked in our minds as the frequency of transmission was very high.
