Force India is a Brawn GP fan.

Force India F1 has hit a purple patch and we all hope it continues.
I was on the lookout for some force india merchandise
so I visited Force India Formula One Team Shop which appears to be the authentic force india fan gear shop.

Look what I found.

Though I still believe that this is the official store.

In spite of Vijay Mallaya being such a big brand builder , how can this gaffe happen ?

Or maybe the same company made both websites and forgot to clear databases
I cannot check that though. Sports web sites blocked by company firewall.

Something is seriously wrong here.

Looks like all the merchandise are that of Brawn only.

A typical car guy's internet browser window : Team BHP, Force India, Scuderia Ferrari, Volvo etc..

Coming back to the topic, its surprising FI and the Kingfisher group havent taken notice. Has anyone tried to mail them?

It's certainly a non-official site. A quick whois.net search shows that the official site forceindiaf1.com is owned by Kingfisher airlines limited, while the forceindiaf1teamshop is registered with J van omnem (most probably the ownership details are fake as well).

LOL so true dippy. btw that's the browser is of my office desktop.

Lets assume that some Brawn GP fan hacked into the site however whats more surprising is that if you try adding it to cart. you can actually make a payment. i tried a mock shopping of the merchandise and i could go all the way up to making a payment.

Yes the whois queries do refer to a NL address. I think some dutch guy also has a stake in Force India. maybe the dutch partner offered to setup the merchandising .
but the site also has links to the official site.

Latestnews is that Reebok kas tied up with Force India F1 and they sell the merchandise on Reebok

yehaw... but it is expensive.
