Where you off to for the long weekend?

Since this is the question on almost everyone's mind (at least on GKrishn, greatDrive and mine), i thought i will start this thread up.

So, suggestions? ideas? plans? Out with em...

Cheers

Don't rub it in, mate, don't

I am gonna be at work managing double shifts to complete an urgent Export order from our previous "Rulers" (the geezers, mate, the Brits! Do not blame me, just finished reading the Mangal Pandey Thread http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7008 LOL)

Anyways, enjoy and keep out of harm's way.

Cheers

I'd do Arush's long weekend, rather than anything else!

On my end, I see a lot of fast driving, rock music, and alcohol in my near future. No worries, I NEVER mix the former and the latter!

It would have been helpful if people going to places nearby should have given some more info about how to reach there and what all places to visit. which part of Karnataka/Other state Is it.

This will reduce people investigating about this place on google.

what do you all say?

ajmat - the Palamner route is as great as ever. However, there is a ghat section between Palamner and Chittoor which is under renovation and a temporary road has been cut out of the ghats. This small section is really bad and so, please take care on this section.

Ranipet till Sriperumbudur is great. Sriperumbudur to Chennai is hopeless (construction in progress) but if you're branching off at Kanchipuram, you should be OK.

I did Chennai - Bangalore via Chittoor on Wednesday and returned yesterday.
