Sites.P2P networks for downloading movies/songs?

Hi guys

Have just got a 256 kbps broadband connection installed at home. Could you recommend sites/P2P networks where i could download good movies and songs( both English and Indian movies)?

I have heard that Kazaa has been stopped, so am not aware whats good out there currently....

Use PHEX, or use a bittorrent client like Azureus.

Limewire is pretty good. I've downloaded tons of movies, mp3s and software from there. Good speeds also.

nope kazaa is back and running again..limewire is pretty good too..right now im using both kazaa and limewire..

For most of your English song downloads try some Russian MP3 sites. Apparently Russian law is not very strict about file sharing.

Most of the site is in Russian but I'm sure you'll find your way around given the fact that the MP3s are FREEEEEEEEEEEEE!! Downside is that its very slow. ( <10kbps )

Word of caution : Do not use Kazaa.It has a lot of virus problems.Infact many Hackers use Kazaa to transmit virus into other computers.
Use Limewire,eMule or mp3downloads.com.

ANTIVIRUS
FIREWALL
ANTI-SPYWARE

also keep your operating system updated

generally don't download P2P softwares from unknown source as they might be bundled with spywares, trojans, key loggers etc

For hindi movies, try tmstorrents.com and desitorrents.com. For everything else mininova.org and torrentspy.com are also good. As for the software, i use bitLord 1.1. Simply 'cos heard a lot of negative feedback about kazaa and limeware regarding security and viruses/trojans etc.

Im using Ares its much better then kaaza .... movies, songs etc.

Try BitLord or even Azureus Bit Torrent ..... both are damn neat, hasslefree and easy to use. I have installed both but somehow only BitLord gives me max speeds at all times.
