Sania signs up for Getz

Just read somewhere (cant remember where) that Sania Mirza has signed a 3 year contract with Hyundai to promote Getz.

Hyundai hope Sania will do to Getz what Shahrukh did to Santro.

and maruti doesnt need a pretty face to sell the swift-the swift itself has the looks

the sania brand aint gonna help hyundai at all....Getz doesnt need any fancy ads. all it needs is a competetive price. with the prevalant discounts too, getz is way too much expensive. hyundai needs to learn a lesson and put their "bigger than Swift" ego aside if they want to sell the Getz in good volumes here.

1.5 crores on her to be the brand ambassodor !!! gosh i think its better that hyundai spend the same money and offer better discounts on the getz..will it not sell like pancakes then..
PS:30k discount on 1 car and wham within no time they will have 500 cars sold of the shelf in no time..i think thats a better idea than wasting so much money on hiring people for brand promotion..

Im with mclaren on that...Infact there are lots of people buying swift coz of price advantage over getz...Now, a percentage of these buyers like getz for its looks but the money over matter factor is driving them away from getz. Yes, a 35k slash will bring loadsa goodies for Hyundai and sent Sania packing like her match after Marrria Sharrrapova!!!

Steeroid - i dont find her hot when she is not in her tennis attire. I feel she looks damn hot on the court.

A bit off topic, but what about the other Indian tennis players? When the Sunfeast event was going on, Sania played her first round, then we have the Uberoi sisters playing a great match.

I watch the news later that night and they have a 1 minute bit on Sania, but nothing else at all on the tourny! No news of how the sisters faired, no news of the actual results nothing! I actually think Sania losing in the 2nd round was better for the others playing as atleast the spotlight was on them for a brief period.

Our press is really a disgrace when it comes to their reporting standards.
