hi guys, just thought i would post this thread to find out how many of us use which one and why (ease of use, simpler, etc.)....

so, it would be great if all of you would chip in, and quote which one you use, along with your i.d's (yahoo or MSN)....

i think it would help, if all of us knew each other's i.d's, so maybe we could chat simultaneously while browsing Tbhp...

I have both, although i don't use them- i do not chat much; Tbhp is what i use 99 % of my net for..

I use both MSN and Yahoo but recently I tried out Google talk which is very easy to use and simple.

I got MSN, Yahoo! and have been looking forward to downloading Google Talk....but never got the time.

I used to use both but now i only use msn messenger.i tried google talk too but i had all my contacts in msn and so didnt want to shift and re add them there so i scrapped that.so now i only use msn.

Mine's on my TBHP profile...has been there since day 1.

I have Yahoo & MSN installed but use only MSN mainly because of its customization ability & secondly because all contacts are there.

i am recently using Google Talk, bare bone IM still in beta but found out that audio quality with dial up is better than Skype

I am using MSN.
But for some reason MSN messenger is not working on my computer because of some firewall problem.
It happens even if the firewall is switched off.
Anyone know why?

MSN anyday..though I use yahoo also sometimes. One thing MSN should have had was the offline messaging thingy as Yahoo..

For voice, I use skype (amit.seth) for both Business and personal use - a must-have if your ISD bills are scaling the roof.

P.S. I request all the members not to type @ with their addresses. Instead use [at]. There are some automated programs which automatically detect email adresses in forums such as this and then use them for spamming.

I would prefer to use google messenger, but of the two mentioned its yahoo. I dont really trust msn portals with my info and stuff. It may have more features, but most of my online communication is on irc/livejournal/blogger etc., so couldnt care less :D

I use only MSN.. since years..never tried yahoo..though my sister uses yahoo,and finds it better..I stick to msn !

I use both, but certainly prefer Yahoo. Many times MSN makes my PC hang - sucks big time! You can't even leave offline messages on it. Infact the only reason I use MSN is because most of my friends and family members use it.

YAHOO!! all the way. I used to like MSN before Yahoo changed its messenger to the new type with the avatars, audibles etc..
