Buy exercycle in bangalore?

Hi Guys,

Wifey wants to buy a basic exercycle which she can use at home. I checked out the places like the BSA showroom (IRR), Stay Fit on Koramangala but these guys are charging 7K or above.

We just need the simplest/basic model(no digital meters etc.) within a budget of 3-4K. We have a well equipped gym in the complex for better equipment. This is just for using for short durations or for times when one doesnt really want to go to the gym

Where in Bangalore can I buy it?

Thanks guys.

Anirudh(souljah) isn't in India now, albeit he should be able to give some idea on what to look for based on sammy's budget.

You can try this:

Decathlon: Sports & Sporting Goods, Equipment & Supplies Online - India

Seem to be a really good sports and fitness shop! The shop looks really large and has lot's of variety!

Thanks anekho, checked the site out. The bike there is for almost 15K, completely out of the budget.

I am hoping there is some small shop somewhere which might have a basic bike in my budget.

A few years ago, I bought an Exercycle from Afton - do not remember the exact price, but was not more than INR 3500/-. Their showroom is in Forum mall, and another in Koramangala.

You can also try Olympic sports.

The magnetic bikes will cost more than the belt based exercycles.

Re: Buy exercycle in bangalore?

Folks, any feedback on exercise bikes specifically the models sold by Hercules India ? They seem to have a UB and a DB model series, so how do they compare, anyone using these ? Appreciate any first hand feedback.

Stirring up an old thread, wondering if I should cross-post on the Treadmill thread if I don't get responses here

Re: Buy exercycle in bangalore?

From my own experiences I have found these well intentioned fitness devices turn into very expensive clothes hangers please think twice before investing.

Update : my bad, I meant the elliptical cross trainers, not the exercise bikes, so the EL model range from Hercules is what I'm looking for feedback on.
