Of course common words will come to you more naturally coz thats wot the brain first checks out, thats why uncommon words take a bit longer.

The order theory of letters for a word is not strictly the only reason i feel.


Ur mind wants to read the most common wrds that it already knows or is looking for the sequence of words subconsciously.

Individual words are nothing more than the weekly jumble. Piece o cake most of the time, but the point is that anyone WILL put even these words together if they are put in sentence BUT NOT as individual words. Thats exactly what was being proved here - that the mind expects words to form a logical sentence and starts stringing together the sentence even when individual words dont register correctly.
