Maybe not, based on their bowling performance in second test they can give tough fight. It was their catching that let them down the most in the last match. If they improve that maybe they can make things interesting. Because Pakistan is well known for their unpredictability rl:
Siraj on fire! We have GOT to go on and win this one, after such a brilliant bowling start.
Are we finally back in World cup bowling mode!! Amazing bowling by Siraj backed by Bumrah and Mukesh. Prasidh was medicore like last time.
Must have been sometime when a team was bowled out in first session on first day itself.

Siraj is a once a blue moon splendor! He bowled well today but now don't expect much from him for another 5 test matches. We should aim to score minimum 500 now and bowl SA out in the 2nd innings.
Omg!!! I was busy with office work so was late to watch the game in tv. At first I thought it was a rain break or something. Opened cricinfo to realise they were all outrl:
KL started the procession from our side. And we are all out in the space of 2 overs. I still can't fathom how 6 wickets were lost like this. SA bowled well but but convinced that they deserved 6 wickets in few mins. What a day of cricket. Don't know if the lead of 98 is sufficient to force the issue and win this test.
Utter chaos, from 153/4 to 153 all out:Frustrati
0/6, absolutely amazing batting performance from India.
At this rate we shouldn't be surprised if SA innings bundle's up by the end of day.

And we have 6 runs to win where India win by 1 wicket :Cheering:
Most likely match is going to finish tomorrow on 2nd day. I feel they should play another test match in the remaining three days so those who got tickets can get fully compensated. lol:

Indian batters never fail to surprise.
Clown management played Prasidh again over Thakur and Ash knowing fully well how rubbish he is with ball and how dud he is with bat. Still, no one expected this. Amazing record. Free loader Vikram Rathore keeps his job with debacle after debacle from batsman.

Mukesh is an excellent line and length bowler. His first class performance speaks for it and management saw this itself in West Indies. Still played Prasidh over Mukesh in first test. On Australia tour we should play -
Bumrah
Siraj
Shami
Mukesh
Will be fun.

SA board gonna incur losses for this match and deservedly so for preparing this shambolic pitch. I don't see hue and cry for pitch from everyone, if it was a subcontinent pitch and 23 wickets fall on first day all the Aussies and Poms will declare it death of cricket by a doctored pitch.
Mukesh was very good with his line and length. He felt little tired at the end. Its easy to blame the team management after something doesnt work :)
I dont think Prasidh is so bad generally. He has been so though in this series.
Shami would have enjoyed this pitch with his consistency.

Questions about the pitch will come sooner than later. I agree it is an atrocious one on which an unwanted record of 23 wickets lost. And overall these are two international cricket teams not a bunch of school boys playing a recreational game. CSA continues to mismanage the little resources they have and especially this province has a poor reputation in SA. They seem to have no more groundsmen who can prepare a decent pitch.
What a match for Elgar to sign off his career and getting out twice on 1st day itself. Unfortunate for him and beyond the pitch getting an poor rating, wonder what else ICC will do.
What a terrible pitch. ICC should certainly look into this. Was looking forward to at least 4 days of Test cricket and looks like it'll be a day and a half at best. Ridiculous! SA Cricket have really messed up the farewell match of one of their legends. Both Elgar and the cricket fans have every reason to feel cheated.
