It was only 3 till India won the other day ... !!!

BTW, do read this article on Foxsports

Excerpt: IF Andrew Symonds wasn't such a gentle fellow, India's Shanthakumaran Sreesanth's nose would probably be plastered all over his leering face. The Hindu and occasionally Christian bowler can thank all his gods that the secular Queenslander is a man of peace and tranquility.

haha
i predict a 4-2 loss for the boys in blue. when they visit the land down under it will be a blue massace...

Read this on Cricinfo: Cricinfo - Sreesanth taunts Symonds again
If this plays on Symonds mind and affects his batting, then Sreesanth has achieved what he intended. Let us keep a close eye on Symonds performance in the next ODI.

:uncontrol. Symonds is not some god or Sir. Donald Bradmen to keep performing in every match he plays. Even if he doesn't score well in the next game it will be a part of the game and not necessarily because of Sreesanth's provocation. But, it this is indeed true Sreesanth should consider himself VERY LUCKY not to have been clubbed by the huge Queenslander, though he still might be in big big trouble from the match referee.

In all this banter, I forgot to mention one thing. Did anyone notice Sachin having a word or two at Symonds during the match? Now, who said the little fellow is not aggressive  ?

lol: - you are an optimist! You seriously think Symonds is staying awake at nights quaking with fear every time he imagines Sreesanth making faces at him?

Last time the little fella was looked aggressive was against a Zimbabwe bowler called Henry Ooo..... something. That was a sight to watch.

I would prefer aggression of a different kind, namely, from the bat of Sachin.

Little fella's yet another record Tendulkar all set to play 400th ODI

6.6Anderson to Jayasuriya, OUT, got him! A fine piece of bowling - the slower ball which Jayasuriya misread and attempted to chip over mid-off. Pietersen nearly made a complete cabbage of it, but took it face height at the second attempt ST Jayasuriya c Pietersen b Anderson 3 (30m 22b 0x4 0x6) SR: 13.63

Just wanted to find how well the other old man who had just completed 400 ODI's was performing.

Quick comparison between Jayasuriya and Sachin - Stats of last 30 matches played

30 807 115 29.88 2 4 23 4/14 31.56 0 4 0 - Jaya
30 1129 100* 41.81 1 11 10 2/10 49.50 0 9 0 - Sachin

General perception is Jayasuriya fires even at this age, but seems to be thats not the case. Unfortunately the strike rate data is not available.

At least the other old tried some aggressive shot :)
Hope our old man doesn't get bogged down tomorrow trying to beat the fine leg with his favorite paddle sweep :)
