KSRTC tickets from your Phone!

Nothing new. I have used ngPay earlier itself to book KSRTC tickets.

I have also got an SMS stating this, In addition, it said there is no need to carry the printout of the ticket and that the sms along with the address proof would be enough.

There are two different facilities about mobile tickets from KaSRTC-

1. Using ngPay you can book the tickets using your mobile phone and your booked ticked will be either emailed or can be collected at a booking counter on showing a valid proof.

2. The second service is the mticket where upon booking a ticket using their online booking system, one would receive a mticket with all the details onto their registered mobile phone. One can board the bus and show the ticked to the conductor with a vaild ID proof and travel. No need of any physical ticket or printout of the same.

These are really good initiatives and being paperless saves our environment too!
